Step 1
The Tale
Once, a single crystal held all the light of the world and split it into color. Its shards were scattered: guarded by noble houses, hidden in monasteries, sold by charlatans. Now the Core is waking, and every color it touches bleeds white.
- Level 3, no experience needed. Every hero comes pre-made with a sheet, a plain-language description and optional action cards.
- About four hours of heroic comedy: a descent, a few puzzles and a fight you will not see coming.
- One rule: keep your character sheet in front of you and your wits about you. The vault has opinions, and everyone at the table will help you.
Optional: a short full-screen intro with words drifting out of the smoke. It tells you almost nothing, on purpose. Press Esc, Enter or Space to skip it.
Step 2
Choose Your Party
Up to four parties may run this one-shot. Check the date and time, then join the one that suits you, or start your own. The ideal table is 5 to 6 players and the DM; 8 is the hard limit.

What to expect at different table sizes
Up to 4 players works
Turns come around fast and everyone gets lots of spotlight. The encounter is built for 5 to 8 characters, so the DM will use the reduced setup for a smaller table.
5 to 6 players ideal
The sweet spot. The fight is tuned for this size, rounds stay snappy, and the surprises land because nobody waits long for their next go. Fits the four hours.
7 to 8 players lively chaos
Expect a long session that may overrun four hours. You will wait several turns between actions, quieter players get less airtime, and passing things around eight seats slows every turn. Come ready to be patient, and read your sheet while you wait.
Eight players is the hard limit for a party. If a party is piling up, the page will say so and point you to the other one.
